Scholarships
Erasmus Mundus Scholarships
Applicants to the WOCC Master’s programme may apply for Erasmus Mundus scholarships funded by the European Commission. This scholarship amounts to €1,400 per month for 24 months. It is intended to cover tuition fees, living expenses, and travel costs for the two years of the Master’s programme.
The programme can award only a limited number of Erasmus Mundus scholarships. Applications for Erasmus Mundus scholarships are submitted as part of the Master’s application process, between October and January.

Mobility Scholarships
In addition to Erasmus Mundus scholarships, there are other funding opportunities to support studies in the WOCC Master’s programme.
First, the University of Lille offers several scholarships for students undertaking study or internship mobility periods.

Erasmus Grant:
Primarily awarded for destinations within the Erasmus+ program. Duration ranges from 2 to 12 months per study cycle. The University of Lille generally has sufficient funding to support all study and internship mobilities through this scheme. Since 2021, universities have been allowed to allocate a small portion of the Erasmus budget to destinations outside Europe (Erasmus International Credit Mobility).

Mermoz Grant:
A scholarship funded by the Hauts-de-France Regional Council, the French region where the University of Lille is located. It is awarded based on the Family Income Index (Quotient Familial – QF), with a decreasing amount depending on income. It provides funding for 3 to 6 months, once during the academic program.
At the University of Lille, it is awarded to students with a QF below €30,000 for non-European destinations and €20,000 for European destinations. Eligible students must be either French nationals or foreign nationals who have been residing in France for at least two years at the time of application. -
International Mobility Grant (AMI):
A scholarship funded by the French Ministry of Higher Education for students receiving CROUS grants (Regional Centers for Student Services). It provides funding of €400 per month for 2 to 9 months over the course of the academic program.
At the University of Lille, funding is limited to a maximum of 6 months per mobility and per academic year, in order to support a larger number of students.
Excellence Scholarships
- Moblilex: A scholarship offered by the University of Lille for incoming and outgoing mobility at Master’s and Doctoral levels. Students eligible for at least one of the scholarships listed above cannot apply for Moblilex. There are two calls for applications per year, in September and March/April.

Summer School Grant:
The University of Lille offers financial support of €400 for students wishing to enroll in one of its Summer School programs. Priority is given to destinations in Erasmus program member countries. -
