WOCC : A Student-Centered Master’s Programme

A demanding program for motivated students.

The WOCC Master's program is designed for motivated students with a solid academic background and a clear vision of their professional goals. The program fosters autonomy, active engagement, and excellence in learning.

By training students from around the world on issues of work, employment, and professional well-being, WOCC fully embraces the mission of excellence and international openness of its partner universities. This program trains researchers, policy makers, and practitioners capable of informing public policies, supporting organizational transformation, and contributing to a fairer and more sustainable future of work.

Personalized support throughout the program.

Welcome week each semester Each university organizes an integration week at the beginning of each semester to facilitate students' adaptation to their new environment. Local students and administrative staff assist newcomers in discovering university services, transportation, dining options, and cultural activities. Debriefing sessions address any practical or academic concerns.

Dedicated international office An international office specific to the WOCC Master's program provides administrative and technical support throughout the semester, ensuring prompt resolution of any difficulties and smooth integration at each partner university.

Unifying moments to build a cohesive cohort.

Collective fieldwork (Semester 1) From the first semester, the entire cohort gathers for a week to conduct collaborative research fieldwork, establishing the foundation for strong group cohesion.

Annual summer school Each year, one of the partner universities hosts a summer school that brings together students from different cohorts. This gathering provides an opportunity to deepen knowledge, share mobility experiences, and strengthen ties within the WOCC network.

Study trip (Semester 4) The cohort reunites one final time for a study trip to international institutions (Brussels, Paris, Geneva), offering a collective conclusion to the program and opening concrete professional perspectives.

These collective moments, combined with personalized support, make the WOCC Master's program as much a human experience as an academic one, where each student finds their place in a committed international community.
